Invigorating Run

Like any weekday, I woke up and peep out of the window.
It is a lovely, warm sunny day again. The weather made me smile.
For a while, I forgotten my hinting headache.
Still looking out, I thought: "I must do something for myself today, before it passed by me like the other days.

I had the chance to breath in the fresh air, when I took my son to the station to get 7:10 train to his school. The temperature is just right for a 5 kilometer run.

Running is not one of my favorite things, it is becoming the least because of knee problems and my high heart beat rate. However, its good effect on my day is undeniable. It sets my mood for the day, it gives balance to my physical and mind, hence a restful sleep.

So today, I change my attitude about running. I did some stretching and warm up exercise. I wore a knee support on my left leg, before I head out for the run. During the run I only focus on nice, happy thoughts of encouragement, creativity and good will.

I was not out of breath (like I used to) when I reach our street at the end of my run. I bumped to the neighbor and had a chat with her. I got inside the house, sat down and gave some thought about the run and how I feel about it in a word. I described it as invigorating and I am very happy to do it again. From here, all I have to do is remember "INVIGORATING" Run to help me remember the good things I had done to enjoy the run for the day.
